BVA's sixth orchestral concert offered the spotlight to four soloists in this best-loved of oratorios. Our narrator for the evening was Bishop Graeme Knowles, former Dean of St Paul's Cathedral.

Highlights in concert from Donizetti's

L'ELISIR D'AMORE

In Brunswick Vocal Arts' fifth orchestral concert, we provided a platform to five operatic rising stars in one of the opera's  best-loved bel canto highlights. Our narrator for the evening was former BBC Radio broadcaster Susan Sharpe.

Highlights in concert from Tchaikovsky's

EUGENE ONEGIN

In this concert performance of highlights from Tchaikovsky's dramatic and much-loved adaptation of Pushkin's iconic literary masterpiece (sung in Russian, with a linking narrative read in English), Brunswick Vocal Arts gave the spotlight to five operatic rising stars, conducted by Gary Matthewman. Our narrator for the evening was cabaret star Dillie Keane, of Fascinating Aïda fame.

In this relaxed, one-hour Sunday afternoon concert, Brunswick Vocal Arts' Opera Chorus (no auditions, all welcome!) presented well-known opera and operetta choruses, including works by Donizetti, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and Johann Strauss. They were joined by some of young opera soloists Emily Wishart, Esmée Loughlin-Dickinson, Edvard Adde, Henry Godwin and Gabriel Tufail-Smith, singing selected arias and ensembles. BVA Chorus master Lindsay Bramley conducted, with piano accompaniment from Gary Matthewman.

​Brunswick Vocal Arts' third orchestral performance featured eight singers in highlights from Mozart's dramma giocoso masterpiece, in concert. Gary Matthewman conducted the orchestra of Brunswick Vocal Arts. A linking narration was provided by broadcaster Sean Rafferty.

Brunswick Vocal Arts' second orchestral event featured eight singers in a concert performance of varied operatic arias (by Handel, Mozart, Dvorák, Gounod, Tchaikovsky, Verdi and Puccini) conducted by Gary Matthewman. The BVA Opera Chorus performed works by Mozart, Donizetti and Verdi. A narration was read in English by broadcaster Michael Portillo.
